At Light Shiners, we believe that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life and that no one comes to the Father except through Christ (John 14:6).  We also believe that we are called to let our light shine before others so they may see our good works and glorify our Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16). Rooted in these truths, our family ministry exists to both proclaim the gospel and embody the Holy Spirit’s transformational power through intentional action.

We aim to steward our time, talent, and treasure to reflect Christ’s love—opening our property, facilities, and hearts to host gatherings, serve our community, and create spaces where grace and truth meet. Whether through events, hospitality, or everyday interactions, we seek to make the gospel visible and tangible.

Beyond our own efforts, Light Shiners is committed to “holding the rope” for other Christian ministries—supporting, encouraging, and partnering with gospel-centered work in Ankeny and around the world. We believe in the power of unity, generosity, and shared mission to advance the Kingdom of God.
